Tradition with a twist

 

With the current COVID-19 pandemic, travelling overseas for leisure has been restricted. However, it has also given us an opportunity to visit or revisit our very own places of interest in Singapore.

Chinese Opera in Singapore has its roots in our pioneers that immigrated from China. The exhibit invites the youth to discover their heritage in a new light.

It will be situated at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC), where similar cultural exhibits, performances and workshops are hosted.

Making use of the pillars at the location, the exhibit can be divided into 5 segments.

There will also be an omni-channel experience; as visitors go through the exhibit there can be codes to scan and the visitor's progress can be recorded by the app. The app also allows for easier booking and way-finding to the location as SCCC
